A helicopter which carried relief supplies crashed in Manila Bay Sunday afternoon.
The private chopper, which came from Caticlan, crashed close to Bulacan or about 18 nautical miles from North Harbor in Manila.
The pilot and one passenger survived the crash with the help of fishermen and the US Marines who were on their way to Tacloban.
Capt.
John Andrews of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP)
said a C-130 from Villamor Air Base saw two passengers of the helicopter
floating on the water and immediately dropped life vests to them.
Investigation is still on going to determine the cause of the crash.
