Binay beats PNoy - SWS Satisfaction Ratings
Vice President Jejomar Binay's net satisfaction dropped in September but
he still enjoys a positive performance score, the new Social Weather
Stations (SWS) survey found.
The survey, done from Sept. 20 to
23, saw the Vice President getting a "very good" rating with a score of
+69, down from his June's "excellent" rating of +76.
Binay's ratings drop echoed President Aquino's dip in satisfaction rating.
The President received a net score of a "good" +49, a 15-point plunge from his "very good" 64-point rating 3 months earlier.
Meanwhile,
the scores of other top public officials were slightly up. Senate
President Franklin Drilon saw a 12-point gain from June to +37, House
Speaker Sonny Belmonte is up 2 points to +18, while Chief Justice
Lourdes Sereno's score increased by 4 points to +17.
The SWS
survey last September involved interviews with 1,200 adult Filipinos
nationwide. The sampling error margins were plus-minus 3% for national
and plus-minus 6% for area percentages.
